Santa Rosa City: Renuka Suksukont captured her first international title yesterday, completing a wire-to-wire victory at the ICTSI Philippine Ladies Masters in Laguna province. The 22-year-old Thai closed with a round of even-par 72 to finish on five-under 211 for a two-stroke win. The victory at US$80,000 (approximately 2.56 million baht) event, co-sanctioned by the China LPGA Tour, Ladies Philippine Golf Tour and LPGA of Taiwan, was worth US$15,000 (480,000 baht). "Finally, I got a championship outside Thailand and my first CLPGA win," said Renuka. I shot into the water at hole eight and almost in the water at hole 14.
